The Greater Lee’s Summit Healthcare
Foundation was formed as a result of
the sale of a local non-profit
hospital. The funds that were held
by that Foundation were transferred
to the GLSHF and the scope of the
organization was expanded to include
Lee’s Summit and the surrounding
areas.
Since that time, the Foundation has
been working to set up
grant
guidelines, grant cycles and to
strengthen both our mission and
structure to support significant
granting in the community. GLSHF is
affiliated with the
Eastland Community Foundation,
expanding outreach to the entire
area and through an affiliation with
the
Greater Kansas City Community
Foundation, to the entire
region. GLSHF is ready to provide
granting opportunities to Lee’s
Summit and the surrounding areas and
also to begin accepting
contributions.
